· Initially, we cancelled all scheduled alumni programming to meet University and State guidelines regarding events.
· We have rescheduled many 2020 events into 2021. Most notably, our Reunion and Centennial Gala celebration which was to occur this November has been moved to October 2021. Once events resume they will be held in compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols such as distancing, masks, and enhanced disinfecting. This will reduce the number of attendees we will be able to include in events.
· We are implementing virtual events such as this Novembers “100 Years of Memories” Online Auction and Charter Day of Giving. To commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Immaculata, we will provide the opportunity for the IU community to share a memory on the digital wall on Charter Day, November 12. In addition to this initiative, we continue to explore options for other virtual offerings.
· The Alumni Association Board of Governors has moved all meetings to a virtual format.
· We leveraged our bi-monthly email communications and social media accounts to stay connected with Alumni and have included new features such as an online prayer request form to provide virtual resources where available.
